Just so you know…
After having discovered the Monitor Tribute Pages several years ago, I want you to know that I’m still listening and enjoying the audio content even to this day in early 2026. I’m very grateful that the website is still accessible.
These days, I often find myself pondering my earlier life, and longing for those times when life seemed simpler and kinder. Listening to the old broadcasts conjures beautiful memories. Monitor was a wonderful program, the likes of which we’ll probably never hear again.
My first job in radio was for an NBC radio affiliate (WSCR in Scranton, PA), and I remember the times when, at the end of my shift, I had to switch the station content over to NBC Monitor in New York. I’d often remain in the studio to listen to the first few hours of the program. Here I am, over fifty years later…still listening!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
